Helping KA Stripp turn more website visitors into customers
The challenge
KA Stripp Ltd. specialises in high-value renewable heating systems. They came to us because, despite having people visiting their website, they weren’t generating enough enquiries.
The initial assumption could have been that they simply needed more traffic. But before recommending more advertising, we wanted to understand what was happening to the people already arriving on the site.
We found that a significant number of visitors were landing on the website and leaving almost immediately.
That suggested the problem wasn’t necessarily getting people to the website — it was giving them a reason to stay, understand the offer and take the next step.
Finding the problem
An audit of the existing website highlighted several barriers.
The site looked dated and didn’t reflect the quality or value of the systems KA Stripp provided. The services were also explained using highly technical language, making it difficult for someone without specialist knowledge to quickly understand what was being offered or, more importantly, why it would benefit them.
There was also very little human element to the site. With no real introduction to the team and no photography of the people behind the business, there was little opportunity for prospective customers to build trust.
For a high-value purchase like a renewable heating system, that mattered.
The business didn’t simply need more traffic. It needed a website that could turn interest into confidence.
What we changed
We rebuilt the website from the ground up using Squarespace, giving KA Stripp a modern website that was easier for the team to maintain themselves.
We also changed the way the services were communicated.
Rather than leading with technical specifications, each service was presented from the customer's perspective, clearly explaining what the system does, the benefits it provides and why it might be the right solution for them.
We also introduced a dedicated About page and new team photography, giving visitors a better sense of the people behind the business and adding credibility and personality to the brand.
Once the website was doing a better job of communicating the business and building trust, we turned our attention to generating more of the right traffic.
We recommended a targeted Google Ads campaign aimed at people actively searching for the renewable heating services KA Stripp offered.
This meant the advertising and website worked together: put the business in front of people with existing intent, then give those people the information and confidence they needed to enquire.
The result
Following the changes, KA Stripp saw an 87% increase in leads.
Rather than simply delivering a new website or running an advertising campaign in isolation, we identified where the marketing journey was breaking down, addressed the underlying problem and then used paid search to increase the number of relevant prospects entering that journey.
KA Stripp continue to come to us for marketing advice as they grow.

The takeaway
Sometimes the answer isn’t simply “we need more marketing.”
When people are finding your business but not getting in touch, the problem may be what happens next.
For KA Stripp, understanding that distinction meant fixing the customer journey first and then investing in getting more of the right people through the door.
